Ryan Garcia recently addressed the concerns amongst his fans about his well-being and has stated that his fight with Devin Haney will go through as planned. As such, Garcia has maintained his presence on social media despite his previous erratic behavior. Furthermore, he has already set his goals far beyond his fight with Haney and recently announced his plans for his fighting career. While going live on ‘X’s Spaces’, ‘Kingry’ stated that he wants to fight Teofimo Lopez and Sean O’Malley in the future.

The young boxing star intends to fight O’Malley in an MMA fight and is quite confident about winning. This is not the first time Ryan Garcia has called out the bantamweight champion of the UFC and has been persistently challenging him over the past few weeks. Furthermore, Garcia believes that MMA fighters have a disadvantage during a boxing crossover but claims to have the determination and grit to defeat O’Malley inside the Octagon.

People don't know I've been wrestling for a long time… If I dedicate myself nonstop to MMA, I can pull it off.

Garcia spoke about O’Malley’s victory over Chito Vera and seemed unimpressed with the fight. Furthermore, Garcia boldly stated that he has a natural talent for learning things and only needs 3 months of rigorous MMA training to defeat O’Malley.

‘KingRy’ revealed that he has been wrestling for several years and believes he can catch on to MMA quickly. Subsequently, Garcia gave the example of Deion Sanders to justify his potential success if he transitioned from boxing to MMA.

Ryan Garcia believes he has superior striking abilities

Garcia believes that he has superior striking skills compared to O’Malley, and this is because he is a boxer. Furthermore, Garcia claimed that a boxer primarily focuses on striking, while an MMA fighter has to worry about a lot more.

Garcia used Conor McGregor‘s fight with Floyd Mayweather as an example to justify his opinion. Garcia mentioned that when McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather, his striking abilities were not superior.

Hence, Garcia believes that he can win the MMA fight with 4-ounce gloves because he has better striking. In addition, Garcia believes that he can learn everything else in MMA and easily defeat O’Malley. Furthermore, Garcia’s persistent challenge to fight O’Malley inside the octagon reflects his serious intent to fight.
