Tekashi 69, also known as 6ix9ine is an American rapper who rose in popularity in 2017 after his widely known single ‘Gummo’ was released. The song made the rapper gain some traction among hip-hop fans. 6ix9ine is also known for his controversial legal battles in organized crimes like assault, gun offenses, and racketeering. Despite releasing several successful songs, the rapper’s artistry is mostly shunned by his controversies.

One of his recent controversies involves getting jumped and brutally beaten by three men in the bathroom of an LA Fitness gym in southern Florida. This incident sparked a lot of outrage within the community with most of them on Tekashi’s side and a minority of groups who think the action was justified. One of those contrarians is popular boxer Ryan Garcia, who rather thinks he ‘deserved’ the brutal beatdown.

Featured in the popular podcast ‘Impaulsive’ hosted by controversial Youtuber Logan Paul, Ryan Garcia said “you reap what you sow,” quoting the bible. ‘The Flash’ also thinks that he ‘deserved’ it and believes people shouldn’t be happy about what happened to the American rapper. “I wouldn’t say I’m happy for it or I don’t think people should be happy for it,” said Garcia. The ‘KingRy’ also had this to say “From his perspective, he should’ve said ‘okay, I kinda low-key deserved that.

Ryan Garcia alongside Logan Paul and his two co-hosts Mike Majlak and George Janko went further into the topic and thinks the men who assaulted 6ix9ine should be held accountable. “I can’t believe those guys actually did that and they should think about what they did,” said Garcia.
