The fight between Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo did not go as expected. The audience expected a proper performance from both fighters. However, Charlo was not able to withstand Canelo’s pressure and lost. Undisputed welterweight champion Terence Crawford had some strong words for Charlo’s performance. However, fans believed that Crawford should have stood up for his fellow peers.

A fan recently replied to Crawford’s post condemning his public callout of Charlo. The fans spoke about how Crawford has gained a habit of putting down opponents and peers after their losses. Fans believed that Crawford had undermined other fighters as he ascended the ranks. A fan also compared his behavior to UFC superstar Conor McGregor in his prime.

However, Crawford had his eyes set on this fight as he wanted to fight Canelo in a super fight. Charlo’s performance against ‘Saul’ did not impress Crawford, as he expressed his disappointment while leaving the arena. Canelo believed that a fight against Crawford would be good but not necessary. He also believed that Crawford was a smaller opponent for him.

Crawford himself is coming off a super fight against Errol Spence Jr which saw him becoming the undisputed welterweight champion. Since then Bud has been on the search for his next opponent as he wants to achieve more. Fans will look forward to a potential fight between Canelo and Crawford.
