Professional boxer and former reality TV star Tommy Fury is unhappy with his fight with influencer KSI. He has judged the main event of Misfits Boxing: The PRIME Card as a bad display of boxing. The bout took place at AO Arena, Manchester, England. Fury won the fight by majority decision, scoring 57-56, while a third judge tied it.

I do believe the referee was heavily in favor of him as he should have been warned about the holding…to stand and fight and not run around the ringI’m not going to beat around the bush. Was it my best performance? No, very far from it, and it was a horrible watch. I haven’t watched it back yet,” said Fury, in an interview with Good Morning Britain. “It was a horrible fight to be a part of,” continued Fury.

Although he won, Fury has said that he felt the verdict was far from clear and there was plenty of sympathy for KSI. He even went on to claim it as a “robbery” of the fight ethics. Fury was warned for hitting KSI on the back of the head, and when he did it a second time, in round two, the referee sternly docked him a point likewise. He is of the opinion this is reflective of a bias.

Post-match, KSI meanwhile chose to punch through a wall at the DAZN studio, in frustration. He might just have reasonably hoped that the point-in from Fury would have seen him over the line, but that did not happen. The whole bout lasted for about 18 long minutes, with neither fighter connecting properly. The match hence saw Fury as a victor, with more boxing-appropriate style and definite punches.

KSI breaks silence on Misfits Boxing loss and thanks fans

The Misfits Boxing DAZN Pay-per-view “Prime” Card saw the defeat of influencer KSI, at the hands of Tommy Fury. KSI has since broken silence on social media after his crushing defeat. Fury toppled KSI, edging him out with a majority decision. The point deduction from Fury for hitting KSI on the back of the head was not enough for KSI to secure a victory or a draw.

An error in the scorecard has since been released on social media. Judge Rafael Ramos had scored the fight 57-57, but a round-by-round tally revealed KSI scored 56. Meaning Fury would have won by unanimous decision anyway. Nevertheless, KSI has taken to X, to thank his fans and assert that he should have won the matchup.

The 30-year-old influencer had won his very previous bout against now-partner Logan Paul. He has thus fought eight times in total, with five wins, one draw, one no-contest, and now one loss. Soon after the match, long-time rival, Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul, called out KSI.
