Francis Ngannou has been scheduled for a boxing match against “The Gypsy King,” Tyson Fury, in October and has chosen to invite Mike Tyson to his training camp. Subsequently, Ngannou and Tyson have been the center of attention recently. Since becoming Ngannou’s trainer, Tyson has expressed his belief that Ngannou is capable of causing a major upset.

Tyson has been training Ngannou and has stated that his power and speed is impressive. Furthermore, he urged Fury to be weary of Ngannou and not underestimate him because he might KO him. Fury has responded to Tyson and Ngannou’s claims, saying he will KO Ngannou regardless of who trains him. Furthermore, on his social media, he wrote,” When you come for the king you better not miss @francis_ngannou They’ve all tried, they’ve all failed. I am inevitable Francis. The outcome will be the Gypsy King having his hand raised in the Kingdom” (H/T-Twitter)

Talks between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have been ongoing for several months since the start of the year. However, the negotiations soon broke down after both parties could not reach a mutual agreement. Subsequently, this led to Usyk’s title defense against Daniel Dubois, in which Usyk secured his victory.

In an interview with Talksport, Frank Warren confirmed that the unification clash between the Usyk and the Tyson Fury will take place early next year. Before the fight, Warren had already stated that the victor of Usyk vs. Dubois would be Fury’s next heavyweight opponent. Furthermore, Warren said, “I am confident that this time we will have a deal,” in reference to the Fury vs Usyk bout.

Warren believes that the fight will happen in 2024, but it can get postponed. Furthermore, Filip Hrgovich, the current number one contender, is due to face Usyk after the Ukrainian’s victory over Dubois.
