“The future will tell”- Tyson Fury once again denies claims of coming out of retirement

Everyone in the boxing world is currently asking a single question. Will Tyson Fury come back? Tyson announced his retirement earlier this year after defending his WBC heavyweight belt against Dillian Whyte and said he won’t fight anymore fights professionals. Tyson hinted at fighting exhibitions fights and talked about fighting the UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
Tyson has been constantly clearing that he won’t step into the ring again, but fans and boxing experts believe Tyson is not true to himself and will return, eventually. Tyson, in his recent interview, talked about fighting the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 but he asked for an absurd amount of £500 million to step into the ring again.
Tyson once again talked about fans’ claims that he will come out of retirement and Tyson has once again cleared that he won’t fight anymore in professional boxing. In his interview with Piers Morgan, Tyson said: “I think I’m the only person who actually believes in what I’m saying. A lot of people are saying, ‘Oh, Tyson Fury doesn’t know when he’s telling the truth himself.’ The future will tell if I’m telling the truth or not.”

Tyson Fury has been doubted by almost every person in the Boxing world. Even Tyson’s promoters, Bob Arum and Frank Warren, believe Tyson will come back and fight again. Tyson’s close associates, including his father John Fury, claim that Tyson can’t stay out of the ring for long.
Among all these names, Tyson’s wife Paris has also claimed that her husband’s career might be far from over. Tyson has claimed he will return to the ring for £500 million, but Paris believe Tyson could return without such an exorbitant fee. In their recent interview, Paris said: “I’d like him to retire, but there’s something in the back of my mind saying he’s itching for another fight. It’s there – woman’s instinct, there’s something still calling him out there. As the wife, I just look and wonder ‘Are you done?’ I hope he is. I hope he chooses another path, but honestly, I think there is a question mark there.”

Tyson still holds his WBC title and has refused to vacate it and expressed his desire to hold it for as long as he can. Tyson has been training continuously and these reasons are enough for the fans to believe that Tyson’s boxing days are far from over.
