Tyson Fury has revealed that he is planning a ring return for exhibition fights and has also named a few opponents he wants to face. Tyson is currently the WBC heavyweight champion, but he announced his retirement earlier this year after defending his title against Dillian Whyte. Despite announcing retirement, it is still unclear whether Tyson will stay retired or return to the ring and fight again.

Many of Fury’s close associates, including his father, have claimed Tyson’s return. However, the champ has been firm in his decision to stay retired. In a recent interview, Tyson revealed he can return to the ring only if the price is right. Tyson talked with sports promoter Frank Warren and said if the price is right he might plan to fight again.

Tyson Fury also talked about fighting exhibition fights for fun in the near future. Tyson has already expressed his desire to fight an exhibition fight against UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and it seems Fury now has a list of opponents he wants to face inside the ring. During the interview, Tyson named heavyweight legends like Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis, along with actor and wrestler Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson. Tyson said the fights would be purely for entertainment and nothing else.

Tyson Fury has been firm in his decision to stay retired and on multiple occasions confirmed he won’t return to fight again despite various reports. According to a report recently, Tyson was in talks to fight the winner of the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. However, Tyson himself disprove the report and said he won’t be returning to the ring.

Tyson has been enjoying his retirement and also had a trip to France along with his family. In his recent interview with TalkSport, Tyson said he will stay retired and only an absurd amount of money can make him return to fight again. Tyson said he will come and face the winner of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk rematch if he is paid  £500 million. Tyson said: “What you’ve gotta do is go and get half a billi, and then the Gypsy King will come out and solve all his problems for him.”

Despite his claims of retirement, Tyson has not yet vacated his WBC title belt, and he also talked about this in the interview. Tyson refused to vacate the belt and said he will hold it as long as he can because he “owns the division.” Tyson said: “No, I’m not gonna give it up because I’ve got 12 months. I’ll just keep it as long as possible. I’ll keep that in my pocket as long as I want… I’m not holding this division up because I own it. This is my division.”
