Andrew Flintoff and Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury and Andrew Flintoff have known each other for a long time now. Both have represented their country at the highest level and are considered among Britain’s top athletes. Flintoff is a former British cricketer who was an impressive all rounder. He had a great run as an international cricketer and after his retirement, he has been focusing on television and other forms of entertainment.
He has been part of several TV programs, movies and has hosted many shows. Flintoff is also a big fan of boxing and has tried his hands on professional boxing once. In the year 2012, Flintoff fought Richard Dawson on his professional debut and won the fight.
Flintoff and Fury are old friends and have come across each other on several occasions. Last year in November, Fury was part of a league of Their Own’s Road Trip along with Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp.
Flintoff visited Buzz Bingo in Morecambe, Lancaster which is Fury’s hometown to shoot a segment of the show.
Andrew Flintoff gifts a jacket to Tyson Fury
Flintoff recently gave Tyson Fury a gift that the fighter was eager to show the world. Fury took to Twitter and posted a thanking clip of him wearing the jacket.
“Thank you for the jacket Freddie. Cheers pal,” said Fury in the Twitter post.
It seems like Flintoff and Fury still have their same old relationship which hasn’t changed over the years. Fury is now not a professional boxer as in his last bout against Dillian Whyte, Fury announced his retirement. It was shocking for fight fans as they never expected the Brit to retire at the top of his game. Fury was absolutely dominating the sport for the last few years. He was selling out big Pay-per-views and was making millions.
Although Fury has done everything as a heavyweight boxer there were still some fighters that the fans wanted Fury to take on. Fighters such as Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk were still great challengers for Fury. However, fans believe that Fury is definitely going to come back from his retirement and will most probably ask for a lot of money for that fight or else he could do exhibition bouts like Floyd Mayweather. Either way, fans have not given up on the idea of seeing Fury again inside the octagon.
