Tyson Fury’s father, John Fury, is a vocal member of the Fury family. He recently shared his thoughts on the performance of Tyson’s previous opponent Deontay Wilder and possible future opponent Anthony Joshua in a recent fight last year in December. Here is what happened:

Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder fought separate opponents on the same fight card in the “Day of Reckoning” boxing event last year in Saudi Arabia. Talking about their performance in the PPV event with SecondsOut, John Fury said:

Otto Wallin was s*** scared of Anthony Joshua. Fair play to AJ, he looked like a man on a mission. Wallin never turned up, just like Deontay Wilder never. I've never seen anything as bad as Wilder in my life. I was looking at two different people in Wallin and Wilder - those were not the people who fought Tyson. Tyson probably took everything out of them.

Anthony Joshua beat Otto Wallin in the non-title fight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Wallin lost via TKO after five intense rounds. Wallin’s corner ultimately threw in the towel and stopped the fight. Joshua dominated the rounds landing brutal punches on Otto Wallin’s face. Wallin’s corner cited a possible broken nose which Wallin later confirmed. The same night, Deontay Wilder fought Joseph Parker on the same heavyweight fight card.

Parker defeated Deontay Wilder via unanimous decision after 12 intense rounds. Both Parker and Wilder are former heavyweight champions. Parker was previously the WBO belt holder, while Wilder was the WBC titlist until he lost the belt to Tyson Fury. Parker was coached by Andy Lee, the cousin and assistant trainer of Tyson Fury.
