Devin Haney is making a name for himself in the world of boxing, especially after his recent victory over Regis Prograis. Furthermore, after becoming the new WBC Super Lightweight champion, Ring magazine has ranked him as the 6th best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. Hence, there is no doubt that he is one of the most talented boxers in the world. Subsequently, Haney’s father and manager, Bill Haney, is integral in all aspects of his boxing career.

While Devin Haney does his work inside the ring, Bill takes care and does all the work outside of the ring. From booking flights to running the promotion, Bill does everything. The father-and-son relationship is stronger than most, and unlike other fighters and managers, the Haney’s have celebrated everything together. As such, New Year’s was no exception, as we can see the Haney’s celebrating the new year with style on Instagram.

The Haney’s were both seen dancing heartily on their Instagram Live. They were accompanied by their friends, including British heavyweight contender Derek Chisora. Subsequently, Chisora, who was born in Zimbabwe, made sure to appear at least once in the video. Dressed in shades, the father and son danced to the music as their friends joined in the celebration.

Many fans agreed that the father-son duo deserved some time off, especially after the year they had just gone through. As they celebrate their accomplishments in 2023, the Haney’s must have their eyes on fighting Ryan Garcia next.

Boxing and BBQ re-posted the Instagram Live video of the father-son duo, which has over 100,000 views and nearly 100 comments. Bill can be seen wearing shades, dancing beside his son, and enjoying the new year alongside other people. Fans came out in droves to respond to the father-and-son video, and many appreciated Bill for his style and vibe. However, some fans reacted by stating, “Look at dumb and dumber.”
