Ben Whittaker secured another knockout victory after his stunning performance against Khalid Graidia, which was filled with showboating. Furthermore, Whittaker is an Olympic silver medalist from the Tokyo 2020 Games, who later turned pro. Subsequently, Whittaker has had an impressive professional undefeated career with 6-0 and 5 victories via KO. As such, Whittaker had no problems in his fight against Graidia and even knocked him down in the first round.

After this, Ben Whittaker then danced around the ring for the better part of the fight, doing matrix-style dodges. This prompted the referee to issue him a warning in the fourth round. Subsequently, this meant nothing to Whittaker since he finished the fight in the following round. He forced Graidia into a corner and rained a vicious series of shots.

This sent the veteran to the canvas and his corner, then he threw in the towel to stop the fight. In his post-fight interview, Whittaker stated

Don't take the showboating as disrespect; it's just my art. People can compare me to Prince Naseem, but I am Ben Whittaker.

Subsequently, Whittaker added that people can compare his boxing style to that of Naseem Hamed, a.k.a. Prince Naseem, but he is Whittaker.

While speaking about the fight, Whittaker commented that he was having fun inside the ring after the first-round knockdown. However, when he noticed that his father looked a bit annoyed, Whittaker decided to end the fight.

Fans react to Ben Whittaker’s showboating

Whittaker is now well-known for his showboating during his fight, but in the first round, he took Graidia seriously. However, after knocking him down, Whittaker began his antics because Graidia had already begun to slow down.

Furthermore, Whittaker caught Graidia with several counterpunches but didn’t finish the fight. Instead, Whittaker began to spin around one leg to display his showboating, and the referee even warned him about it. Subsequently, fans reacted to this by stating, “Gave his a*s to the drunken master.”
