World Champion Carl Froch accepts John Fury’s call out for a fight but on ONE CONDITION

John Fury has been in the limelight of the boxing world as much as his sons, Tyson Fury and Tommy Fury. Furthermore, his antics have been hilarious and, most of the time, embarrassing for fans, and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Recently, Fury called out the former world champion, Carl Froch after he spoke about his son on his YouTube channel. This led to a war of words among them, which has now led to Fury calling on Froch to fight at Wembley Stadium.

As such, Froch has responded to Fury’s callout and reacted to it by accepting but ridiculing the challenge. Froch is a Hall of Fame boxer and was the unified super-middleweight champion of the world. In addition, Froch warned John Fury that he was still in shape and that Fury wouldn’t stand a chance. Subsequently, Froch revealed one condition for the fight and stated,

If any kind of fight was going to materialize for me and you, it wouldn’t be for financial gain. I’m sorry to burst your bubble. There’s no money to be had.

Hence, Froch accepted the challenge but laughed at the horrible matchup. Froch also brought up Joe Egan‘s challenge to fight Fury and stated that he should first fight Egan. In addition, Froch stated that he would be a part of the event and then consider fighting Fury.

Furthermore, Froch fought at Wembley Stadium in his rematch against George Groves, and the fight was witnessed by 80k people. Subsequently, Froch laughed at the idea of filling up the 90K capacity while fighting Fury but accepted the challenge.

John Fury wants to fight, and he’s made it clear with a callout video posted to his Instagram that could set the scene for a potential fight. The challenge was aimed at Carl Froch after the former champion was critical of his son Tyson, who had to withdraw from his heavyweight championship fight against Oleksandr Usyk due to a cut.

After the war of words between the two, Fury issued the challenge and proposed to fight at Wembley Stadium. Furthermore, Fury spoke about fighting in front of 93k people and boldly expressed his intent to fight Froch. Fury also brought up Froch’s comments on his YouTube channel and stated that they should settle the matter in a fight.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Fury vs. Froch fight happens, especially since Froch has also accepted the challenge. Furthermore, it is worth noting that ‘The Gypsy King’s dad is 59 years old, while the former champion ‘The Cobra’ is 46.
