The much anticipated Sonny Bill Williams vs Barry Hall went down in epic fashion. The dominance shown was truly was unpredictable.
The All Blacks star, Sonny Bill Williams with his stunning victory could have potentially marked the downfall of Barry Hall’s career. Bill Hallway stood no chance as Sonny came at him head on and who knocked down his opponent within the first 45 seconds. The smashing left hook ended up with Hallway needing the ropes to support him.
Barry Hall’s misfortune didn’t end there however. Before the night ended Barry was knocked down a total of three times after which the referee had to intervene and stop him from getting beat up so brutally.

Sonny Bill Williams’ victory over Barry Hall leaves former and current boxing champions mesmerized
Former light-heavyweight world champ Danny Green sang praises of Sonny. He says,” Unbelievable! I’m in shock! Barry got caught cold. Full credit to Williams. He didn’t miss when he was doing the finishing. He did it with precision.”
Australian Boxing champion, George Kambosos too comments about the brutal one sided fight, “The sharpness, the fakes from Sonny were incredible. When you catch someone early like that and put the pressure on, it’s very hard to recover.”
Still high of his win, Sonny has his eyes now set on defeating Paul Gallen. Even though Gallen has been pushing Sonny to fight him for a while, both of them go way back.
In a post-fight press conference Williams says, “I saw Gallen after the fight. Me and Gal go way back. Although there are all these words being said – especially from his half – it’s in the plan. I want to do this for a couple of years and if it all works out, Paul Gallen might be a part of that.”
“When and where? I’m not sure. But I’m sure we’ll get talking soon.”, Sonny Bill Williams’ says admittedly.
