Conor McGregor recovers from his UFC 264 injury

Conor McGregor believes he is getting back stronger very soon.

McGregor is arguably one of the biggest superstars in the history of UFC. The Irishman has a huge hand in making the promotion the success it is. But it seems like as a fighter his prime days are long gone. McGregor is 1-3 in his last four fights and was struggling with his form.

McGregor’s last fight was against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 which was their trilogy fight. During the fight, McGregor suffered a horrific injury and broke his leg. The fight was stopped immediately and Poirier was declared the winner. Since then, McGregor has been out of the UFC and recovering from his injury.

McGregor recently posted a picture of him on his official Instagram account. In the picture, the notorious was posing with a pair of boxing gloves during his training. 

In the caption, McGregor informed that it has been three days since he has started boxing. The UFC double champ revealed that he is recovering from the injury very fast. McGregor explained in the road to success there are always obstacles. But in order to win one will have to be positive and determined. In the end, McGregor suggested that he is back and growing.

Day 3 back boxing without issue! Soon this injury will be a distant memory on my Martial Arts Journey. No one has a road without bumps-but winning is about a positive attitude and determination and hard work. I’m back and only getting better,” wrote McGregor. 

It’s been around eight months since McGregor faced that leg injury against Dustin Poirier. Since then fight fans have been eagerly waiting for his comeback. Despite being out of action, McGregor has been very active in his social media. The fighter has taken part in several online disputes which made his comeback more anticipated. It will be interesting to see when McGregor will step into the octagon again and who will be the next opponent.
