The American-Canadien ice hockey winger and captain Brady Tkachuk debuted on National Hockey League (NHL) stage following his 2018 NHL Draft pick by the Ottawa Senators. He was chosen as the 4th overall pick. 

He earned All-Hockey East Rookie Team honors after playing for 1 season with the Boston University Terriers. Born on September 16, 1999, Tkachuk represented Team USA internationally. He participated internationally in the 2017 IIHF World U18 Championships later on.

His father Keith played with the Phoenix Coyotes, while his brother Matthew Tkachuk plays for the Florida Panthers.

Prior to his debut with the Boston Terriers of Boston University, Brady Tkachuk used to play with St. Louis AAA Blues U16 and was part of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. As a freshman with the Boston team, he made 4 goals and 14 points in 19 games.

His selection during the 2018 NHL Draft paved his road to debut on National Hockey League ice against the Boston Bruins in a 6-3 loss on October 8. He was ranked 2nd among the top North American skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau.

Soon after his debut, Brady kept firing pucks at a great speed, marking his first NHL goal and a multi-goal game against the Philadelphia Flyers. His first goal on October 10, marked him as the fastest among the Tkachuk brothers, and his father Keith.

He finished the 2018-19 season with a record of 22 goals, securing the 2nd highest among the NHL rookies behind Elias Pettersson. On November 5, 2021, he was named the tenth captain of the team. His 300th career game came against  New York Rangers.

In the game, he scored his 100th career goal with a Gordie Howe hat trick record mark on December 2, 2022. He also won gold at the 2017 IIHF World U18 Championships with the National Team. He also got invited to the 2018 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in New York.

Brady Tkachuk and his girlfriend got engaged changing their titles from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiance and fiancee. Brady’s girlfriend Emma Farinacci is often seen together sharing photos on social media. 

They posted an image on Instagram where his girlfriend showed off their engagement ring which he captioned “Best Day” on July 22, 2022. During his undergraduate days, he met Emma and they both slowly started their relationship.
