Brandel Chamblee has once made some strong comments regarding Bryson DeChambeau. The golf analyst took a dig at the 2-time major champion’s YouTube popularity and questioned the views he gets on that platform.

For the unversed, DeChambeau also creates golf content. The American international has over 2.4 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, and his “Break 50” series has been one of the most-watched content.

This content creation has increased his popularity on social media. The golfer also undertakes some difficult trick shot challenges which has amazed a huge number of views across his social media platforms.

While analyzing the U.S. team at the NBC’s pre-Ryder Cup show, Chamblee threw a shade at this. He expressed that the LIV Golfer was more interested in his YouTube channel rather than his team and the Ryder Cup.

What he did do was talk about his YouTube channel, which, you know, if we want to talk about the numbers that are generated from that, it’s pretty dubious. I have no doubt that bots are generating a lot of those.

Chamblee seemed to be disappointed with DeChambeau not speaking about the comments Rory McIlroy made regarding him for the Ryder Cup this week. The Northern Irish golfer hit back at the words of DeChambeau, which he made earlier this year.

During the premiere of Happy Gilmore 2, the Crushers GC captain had expressed that he would chirp in the ear of McIlroy if he got the chance. This past weekend, McIlroy spoke on this matter and claimed that he (DeChambeau) only gets attention when he mentions someone.

Several users on X came to DeChambeau’s defense and blasted Chamblee. One user wrote, “his own career was trash” while taking a dig at Chamblee’s golfing career. Check out that and some other reactions regarding this incident below:

In his attack, Chamblee also claimed that DeChambeau will be a difficult person to deal with at the Ryder Cup. He would call him a “captain’s nightmare” and express that it would be hard for Keegan Bradley to blend him with others.

Brandel Chamblee previously claimed Bryson DeChambeau will represent Saudi Arabia instead of USA at Ryder Cup

Brandel Chamblee has been a huge critic of LIV Golf and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. While taking a swipe at the league again, the insider claimed that Bryson DeChambeau will represent Saudi Arabia and not USA at the Ryder Cup.

DeChambeau was one of the big names who left the PGA Tour on a huge contract to play for LIV Golf. Since the formation of the league, Chamblee has many times taken aim at the players who play on this circuit.

A few days before his official qualification to the team, Chamblee took aim at DeChambeau and his ties with the Saudi-backed tour.

He’s one of the best players in the world no doubt, but he will be playing, not for the USA, but for Saudi Arabia in the Ryder Cup. If you disagree, just watch the LIV bots, LIV funders/supporters and those who have been bought by LIV celebrate if he plays well.

DeChambeau finished 6th in the Ryder Cup standings with 10,774 points from his 8 starts on the PGA Tour in the previous two years. Due to his ties with LIV Golf, he had fewer chances to earn these points as they are only awarded on PGA Tour-sanctioned events.

His strong finishes in the major championships earned him an automatic spot on the US roster for the event this year. He will now be hoping to bring some of his strong showing from these events to Bethpage and help his team snatch the Ryder Cup trophy back from Team Europe.
