A week ago, Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed tore the house down in a Last Monster Standing match on Raw. In a battle of two behemoths, it was Strowman who emerged victorious thanks to an assist from Seth Rollins. However, the Monster Among Men got hurt in the process of destroying his rival. Recently, Strowman broke silence for the first time since the car-crash main event.
The former Universal Champion sent a message to his fans via his Instagram account. Strowman revealed that he had torn his groin two minutes into last week’s encounter, confirming reports of his injury. The real-life Adam Scherr showed pride in not only going the distance but also winning the bout. However, Braun did not provide any details on how much time he’d take to recover from his torn groin.
Strowman’s anguish was visible throughout the bout. The 41-year-old star struggled as he limped for the majority of the match. Speaking of the battle, the closing stretch saw the two monsters break the ring following a suplex from the top rope.
Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a b*tch. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters

As both Strowman and Reed got up before the ten count, Rollins made his triumphant return. The Visionary stomped the Aussie wrestler onto the steel steps, helping his former tag team partner to secure the win. Following the bout, Rollins and Strowman shared a wholesome moment after the show went off air.
Strowman’s injury couldn’t have come at a worse time for him. Since his return to WWE in 2022, the former Intercontinental Champion has looked lost in the shuffle. Many felt that he failed to replicate his previous success under the new regime. Therefore, this rivalry with Bronson Reed had brought out the best in him, as it looked like he would return to the main event scene. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for Strowman.
Braun Strowman reveals whether he knew his 10-year-old tag partner at WrestleMania 34
During the road to WrestleMania 34, Braun Strowman had shifted his focus to winning tag team gold. As such, the former Wyatt Family member began targeting the reigning Raw Tag Team Champions at the time, The Bar. Later, he challenged Sheamus and Cesaro for the titles at the Show of Shows.

The Monster Among Men assured that he didn’t need a partner but vowed to find somebody to tag with him anyway. At the event, Strowman walked into the crowd and looked for any fan who he could team up with. Surprisingly, he picked a 10-year-old kid, Nicholas, and did the grunt work as they won the tag titles.
Recently, Strowman spoke with Ten Count Media and sarcastically recalled that he had no idea about the plans. The unlikely duo relinquished the belts a day later. According to the former Universal Champion, Nicholas had other commitments to fill and wouldn’t have been able to defend the titles.
