Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman finally settled their differences on the latest episode of Raw. In a hellacious Last Monster Standing match, the pair didn’t hold back from destroying each other. The closing stretch of the bout saw a callback to one of the most iconic spots in wrestling history. As Reed and Strowman ascended to the top rope, fans had flashbacks to 2003 when Brock Lesnar and Big Show broke the ring.
The Aussie star delivered a suplex from the top rope as the ring collapsed. The crowd went into a frenzy while the two monsters were laid out inside the squared circle. Despite suffering a brutal bump, both Reed and Strowman slowly got back on their feet before the 10-count. However, Seth Rollins rushed to the ring to hit a Stomp on the former NXT North American Champion onto the steel steps. As a result, The Monster Among Men emerged as the “Last Monster Standing.”
The buildup to this bout was undoubtedly one of the most exciting parts of WWE’s weekly programming. From destroying cars to running through walls, Reed and Strowman wreaked havoc on Raw. Therefore, the culmination of this rivalry needed a stipulation worthy of its hype.

While Braun Strowman will presumably move on to a speculated Wyatt Sicks story, Bronson Reed will have his hands full with Rollins. The latter was the first victim of the 36-year-old’s rampage tour. A month ago, Reed delivered a plethora of Tsunamis on the former WWE Champion, which sidelined him from television.
Wrestling fans divided over ring collapsing spot on WWE Raw
Although the fans in the Ford Center went ballistic over the closing moments of the main event on Raw, the spot received polarizing reviews from users online. WWE has repeated the aforementioned Brock Lesnar-Big Show ring collapse moment multiple times in the past. Hence, some fans felt that it wasn’t as thrilling as expected.
Users felt that the spot was weaker in comparison to the previous ones. In fact, the ring didn’t fully break, as only the turnbuckles and ring ropes fell apart. Meanwhile, the other section of the internet wrestling community enjoyed the moment.
Several fans opined it was one of the best endings to a Raw episode. Another user pointed out how the referee hilariously fell out of the ring. Furthermore, a fan heaped praise on Triple H‘s booking for using this rivalry to get Bronson Reed over.
