Even though CeeDee Lamb and his Dallas Cowboys registered an impressive comeback win against the Philadelphia Eagles, the star wideout did not have a game to remember.
He dropped three catches, two of which were in the fourth quarter, when his team was trying to complete their stunning 21-point comeback against the defending Super Bowl champions.
CeeDee Lamb had a step over the stud Eagles secondary, but his hands failed him on all three occasions. Those drops saw the Louisiana native sulk on the sidelines, as he knew he might have cost his team a chance to win.
Thankfully, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense did what they had to do and finished the game with a statement win that has many believing the team is on its way up.
He’s got that look in his eye that (he) means business. He’s ready to play. There will be plenty of balls going to 88 Thursday afternoon.
Brian Schottenheimer said as quoted by Jon Machota
The Cowboys’ head coach believes that his superstar receiver seems ‘fired-up’ after his Week 12 drops. This means, in their quest to reach the playoffs, CeeDee Lamb has probably lit that spark inside him at the right moment.

If he can get back to what made him one of the best receivers in the game, the Kansas City Chiefs secondary could have a problem on their hands come Thanksgiving.
CeeDee Lamb had a conversation with Dak Prescott after drops
Every elite athlete goes through a period when they either have a dip in performance or do not have their focus on the task at hand. After his Vegas excursion, many felt it was the latter.

Just find ways to get better. You want to be solution oriented. You’re not really dwelling much on the problem. Granted, we know the problem, I need to catch the f**king ball.
Jon Machota quoted CeeDee Lamb
The 6′ 2″ star revealed that he had conversations with Dak Prescott over his drops and what he could do to fix them. He understands that his quarterback has done more than enough on his part, dropping the ball exactly where his receiver is.

That is where Lamb wants to fix his game, as he knows the issue lies with him. To resolve this problem, he has to catch the ball and ensure opposing defenses do not get a chance to knock it out of his hands.
With less than four minutes left in their game, Prescott targeted Lamb in the end zone, and the receiver perfectly placed his hands to catch the ball. However, Eagles defender Cooper DeJean, who was covering the Cowboys receiver, smacked the ball out of Lamb’s hands.
Had he held on to the ball, his team would have snatched the lead. Thankfully, the Cowboys’ retooled defense did its part, stopping Jalen Hurts and the stud Eagles’ offense from scoring.
28 million viewers watched Cowboys come back and win against Eagles
The Dallas Cowboys earned their nickname, America’s Team, not just because they were the Super Bowl power of the early ’90s. It was also because owner Jerry Jones had made his team the most marketable sports franchise in the country.
Around 27.8 million viewers on average tuned into FOX Sports’ broadcast of the Cowboys’ Week 12 clash against the Philadelphia Eagles. The broadcast saw a peak of 28.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched game of this week.

No wonder ESPN’s Mike Greenberg suggested that the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving clash against the Kansas City Chiefs could become the most-watched regular-season game in league history.
