27-year-old star discloses whether WWE kept IShowSpeed in dark about his gut-wrenching Royal Rumble appearance
Having broken new ground on social media in such a short span of time, IShowSpeed would've broken a bone or two from his WWE debut.

IShowSpeed made his WWE in-ring debut by competing in this year’s Royal Rumble match. He subbed in for Akira Tozawa, who was mauled by Chad Gable prematurely. It opened up a spot as the cameras rolled backstage, WWE CCO Triple H was panicking for backup until his eyes fixated on Speed. The streamer was instructed to go out and compete.
In hindsight, what a nightmare it was for the 20-year-old. Bron Breakker, who speared Speed in half at Royal Rumble, recently caught up with Gorilla Position. The former Intercontinental Champion quashed any rumors of his in-ring sequence with the internet sensation being a shoot. Breakker added that Speed was made aware of his role in advance.

Both men even had conversations with each other about what they were supposed to achieve in front of a sold-out Lucas Oil Stadium. The sight of Speed doing a backflip and immediately getting wrecked by a steaming Steiner descendant was a massive success. Not only that, the 27-year-old did a military press on Speed before dumping him out of the ring.
The streamer later uploaded a picture of himself in a neck brace on X. It clocked in over a million likes. Speed was indeed done and dusted, and to a level that concerned backstage producers, Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and his wife Stephanie McMahon. They were sweating until the word got relayed to them that the YouTuber was fine.
How was IShowSpeed feeling after Royal Rumble bumps?
Merely few days after his torrid Royal Rumble outing, IShowSpeed gave an update about his health while live streaming on YouTube. The streamer claimed he developed thoughts that he’d die from how badly his body was hurting. It’s quite possible that the in-demand social media figure was overstating his physical condition to accentuate the beating he sustained, courtesy of Bron Breakker.

Speed, however, gained immense respect from the pro wrestling audience for putting his body on the line without any formal in-ring training. He was expected by many to turn up at last weekend’s WrestleMania, but there were no traces of him, unlike last year. Because at WrestleMania XL, the streamer was disguised as a PRIME bottle at ringside during Logan Paul‘s US title defense against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.
The Cristiano Ronaldo superfan ran into a confrontation with Orton, who made Speed pay. The latter got kicked in his gut and received an RKO atop a commentary table. As expected, it was a ratings hit. Speed’s upload of that moment on YouTube Shorts has 206 million views and over 7 million likes, as of writing.
Bron Breakker commences a new partnership in WWE
From spearing IShowSpeed out of his shoe in the men’s Rumble to now working alongside Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker’s meteoric rise in WWE speaks volumes of his potential. On Raw after WrestleMania 41, The Unpredictable Badass was unveiled as the new ‘Paul Heyman guy’ under Rollins’ tutelage.

The Georgia native went right after Roman Reigns and CM Punk. It’s getting ominous for the rest of the pack on the red brand. A mad genius in Heyman lending his services to The Visionary, who’s finally embraced his evil side, has a certain one-man wrecking machine in his kitty to haunt his counterparts.
The trio has been announced to explain its latest actions, and they’ll do so on this week’s Raw in Kansas City. The next step in Breakker’s burgeoning WWE career was hailed by the fans as a masterstroke. After all, his IC title run came to a halt in a Fatal 4-Way match against Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and Penta at WrestleMania.
