Zach Wilson is officially off the bachelor market. The former New York Jets quarterback and current Denver Broncos player made his engagement with girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno official over the weekend.

The couple had been planning the romantic gateway for a while and flew to the picturesque Amalfi coast in Italy. On Sunday, Dellano shared the good news that Wilson proposed to her with a gorgeous diamond ring.

Both then posted photos of the special moment on Instagram. Zach Wilson wrote a heart-touching message for his beau.

When did Zach Wilson and Nicolette Dellanno start dating?

Dellanno is from New Jersey. According to Desert News, Wilson revealed that he and Dellanno met near the end of 2021 after he started playing for the Jets. The pair officially started dating in 2022, making their first public appearance together watching a Yankees game.

Wilson told Desert News that Dellanno loved creating TikTok videos and also has a keen eye for fashion.

She used to do some TikTok stuff for fun, but she is [actually] one of the top designers at this company called Morgan & Co. They make dresses, like the mother of the bride, and prom dresses. So, she works in New York City and she gets to design dresses every day, which is a pretty cool gig.

Before jetting off to Italy, Wilson and Dellanno spent Memorial Day weekend together at Lake Wilson in Utah.

The BYU graduate is fighting for a place as the starter at Denver Broncos after a disastrous end to his Jets career. When Super Bowl winner Aaron Rodgers arrived in the Big Apple, he knew that game time would be limited, but it was a great opportunity to learn from a four time NFL MVP. However, Wilson was fed to the wolves after Rodgers’ first year ended on the hospital bed.

[Obviously], there's bittersweet moments in everything. I miss the guys out there and everything too. But at the same time, a fresh start is good. I'm excited to attack a new challenge.

Wilson has his work cut off in Denver, competing with Bo Nix and Jarett Stidham. Early verdicts hint that Nix is currently the favorite for the starting role.
