There has been a lot of discourse on the internet about the current and previous states of professional wrestling. Many veterans, including The Undertaker, believe that the entire industry has gotten softer and are no longer as “manlier” as they used to be. While Bronson Reed is a wrestler belonging to the current generation, apparently he still falls in this camp.

Reed recently reposted footage from an old wrestling match on his X account. The bout took place in Texas in the 1980s between Bruiser Brody and Terry Gordy. The two competitors fought all over the arena, using various weapons and smashing each other into the furniture. The 36-year-old made his thoughts known, heaping praise on that era of wrestling while tearing into his co-workers.

Reed was last seen in WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames. It is safe to say that his performance in that match met his standards of brutality. The highlight of the match featured the Australian climbing to the top of the match and aiming to hit a Tsunami on Roman Reigns, who was laid out on a table.

Thankfully for the OTC, CM Punk pulled him out of the way just in time. Reed was sent crashing through the table. Unfortunately, this spot caused him to suffer an ankle injury, and he has been out on the shelf ever since.

Bronson Reed sends a message to the locker room ahead of Raw’s premiere on Netflix

Bronson Reed suffering an injury at Survivor Series: WarGames unfortunately means that he would be missing one of the biggest shows of the year, Raw‘s premiere on Netflix. Ahead of the show, the Auszilla had a message to send to the locker room.

Bronson Reed posted a promotional video of himself on X. He announced that he would not be present at the show’s debut on the streaming giant. However, the locker room can expect to see him back soon, promising to destroy them all when he returns.

If Reed were to make a surprise appearance at the show, it would likely be to mess with his old rival, Seth Rollins. The Architect had been feuding with Reed prior to the latter’s injury at Survivor Series. Thus, the Australian star could make a return and cost the former World Heavyweight Champion his match against CM Punk.
