One of the major highlights of last year’s Men’s WarGames match was “Big” Bronson Reed‘s top-of-the-cage tsunami bump that saw him not only crash through a table but also twist his ankle. In its aftermath, it was reported that he had suffered a broken ankle. However, it’s a lot worse than that. Taking to X, the 36-year-old gave a complete account of it.
Reed said he has smashed his talus bone in half. It had to be surgically repaired by means of screws and some fragments taken out. The docs even injected some bone marrow into his foot. As a result, The Auszilla wouldn’t be at the Netflix premiere of Raw, nor the Royal Rumble, and the worst part of this is missing WrestleMania.
He urged the fans to keep checking back on him and stressed that he’s undergone a serious surgery. It’s not merely a fracture, said Reed to end his post. As per a previous report, WWE was targeting May 2025 as his month of return, if not June. That timeline may just be pushed back owing to the potential complications.
This couldn’t have happened at a worse time than it did to Bronson. He was on a roll. Being put in the same match as CM Punk and Roman Reigns is no understatement. Solo Sikoa recruited the Aussie grappler to his team for combating the OG Bloodline and Punk.
