Brooklyn Beckham paid tribute to his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, on his 83rd birthday, sharing a heartfelt message on social media as his strained relationship with his own family continues to draw attention.

On June 24, the Cloud23 founder posted a photo of himself standing arm in arm with the billionaire businessman on his Instagram Stories. Alongside the image, Brooklyn thanked Nelson for his support and wished him a happy birthday.

He wrote, “Happy birthday Nelson x I love u so much ❤️. I’m so happy I could celebrate you today! Thank you for being the best father-in-law ❤️.”

Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, also celebrated her father’s birthday with a post on Instagram. She shared a photo featuring herself, Brooklyn, and Nelson and reflected on the influence her father has had on her life.

She said, “I feel truly blessed to have grown up watching you be such an incredible role model in every way possible. You’re the best father I could ever dream of. You love us all unconditionally, encourage us that our dreams are never too big to chase, and to always be a good human before all else.”

The birthday tribute comes as Brooklyn remains estranged from his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, and has continued to spend time publicly with Nicola’s family.

Brooklyn Beckham’s reported reaction to David and Victoria Beckham’s Father’s Day posts

The latest social media tribute followed Father’s Day weekend, when David Beckham and Victoria Beckham celebrated with sons Romeo and Cruz and their partners at a West London gastro pub. Brooklyn was absent from the family gathering.

Despite his absence, both David and Victoria included Brooklyn in their Father’s Day Instagram posts. Victoria shared a throwback family photo featuring all four of her children with David, while David posted several childhood pictures, including individual photographs with each of his children.

According to The Sun, Brooklyn was reportedly upset because he had previously asked his parents not to tag him in social media posts. “He’s fuming about it,” an insider told the outlet. “He’s asked them to leave him alone, and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again,” the insider continued. “He wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone.”

The reported family dispute also resurfaced through Brooklyn’s recent DoorDash advertisement promoting the FIFA World Cup 2026. In the commercial, he places World Cup tickets on a table before giving them to a delivery driver and explaining why he is watching the tournament from home. “It’s not like I don’t have tickets. It’s because… it’s a long story,” he says in the advertisement.

Days later, Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz Beckham, appeared to reference the commercial while attending England’s FIFA World Cup match against Ghana with David Beckham in Boston. Cruz posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing himself looking at his phone instead of the match and captioned it, “Don’t worry it was during the advertisement break 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.”

Brooklyn has not publicly commented further on his relationship with his parents beyond his recent social media activity and appearance in the World Cup advertisement.
