Brooks Koepka has reapplied for the PGA Tour membership. Two weeks after leaving LIV Golf, the golfer is now seeking a return to the PGA Tour and has reportedly taken the first step to get back on his former circuit.
The 5-time major champion shocked the golfing world in December, last month following his exit from LIV Golf. The 35-year-old was one of the top names on the PGA Tour who defected to LIV Golf in 2022 on a deal worth more than $100 million.
On the Public Investment Fund (PIF) backed tour, Koepka would enjoy plenty of success. He would become the first golfer to win 5 times on LIV Golf and became the first LIV Golfer to win a major championship as he won the PGA Championship in 2023.
Koepka would struggle with form in 2025. He would post just 2 top-10 finishes on LIV Golf and missed the cut in 3 major championships. Earlier in March, the former World No.1 had expressed that he was unsure about his future after reports emerged that he wanted to return to the PGA Tour.
Just before Christmas, reports emerged that Koepka had left LIV Golf. According to a statement by the Saudi-backed tour, the American international would leave due to some family reasons.
In October, he and his wife, Jena Sims, received some tragic news. In a post on Instagram, Sims revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage and lost their unborn baby at 16 weeks.

Bring him back. The PGAT needs a lift. Get Bryson and Rahm back too. They can keep Na.

The golfer currently has exemptions for all four major championships due to him winning the 2023 PGA Championship. So he will have a spot in all four of these events and will be allowed to compete in them.
