In the past few days, there has been a huge speculation regarding the future of Bryson DeChambeau. A report emerged that he would return to the PGA Tour after his contract with LIV Golf comes to an end. He has now shut down this rumors.

As per reports from the Pull Hook Podcast, DeChambeau was seeking a whopping $280 million contract extension to continue his stay with LIV Golf. The report further claimed that this was rejected, which meant he was open to returning to the PGA Tour in 2026.

No, I’m very excited about the future of LIV Golf. I’m very excited to be the captain of the Crushers and continue our legacy that we’re starting to create… I continue to see LIV Golf growing. It’s going to grow at an exponentiating pace for years to come, and we aren’t going anywhere

Bryson DeChambeau told the reporters

DeChambeau was one of the top PGA Tour stars who left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf. According to reports, the Crushers GC captain signed a five-year deal around $125 million. This deal will run through the 2026 season.

This rumors comes at a time when DeChambeau’s league remains to be involved in talks regarding a merger deal with the PGA Tour. Once the merger deal goes through, the sport of golf is expected to be reunified with stars from LIV once again playing with PGA Tour members on regular basis. At the moment, they only time this two tour stars collide are during the four major championships.

Bryson DeChambeau’s longtime rival also linked with shock PGA Tour return

In the past few days, Bryson DeChambeau is not the only one who has been linked with a move away from the PGA Tour and leave LIV Golf. Former Masters champion Fred Couples recently claimed that Brooks Koepka wants to play on the PGA Tour.

While speaking on the KJR 93.3 FM Radio, Couples claimed that he speaks with Koepka often. During this conversation, the 5-time major champion has expressed his desire to play on the Tour.

I talk to Brooks Koepka all the time … he wants to come back. I will say that I believe he really wants to come back and play the Tour.

Fred Couples said

A day after his bold claim from Couples went viral, Phil Mickelson would blast him. In a now-deleted tweet “The Lefty” would label this a “low class jerk move” from Couples and slammed him.

If it’s not true, he damaged a relationship which he cares about. If it’s true he took away Brook’s control of the timeline and narrative. Either way this is a low class jerk move by Fred.

Phil Mickelson wrote in a now-deleted tweet

It now remains to be seen what Koepka’s future holds as well. Just like his longtime rival DeChambeau, Koepka is a captain of a LIV Golf team. He had also previously admitted that he moved to LIV Golf for the money. Recently, he was seen interacting with some tour stars during a surprise visit to the TGL.
