CM Punk has vastly improved his backstage reputation over the past year. Despite initially being seen as a troublemaker, he has started to get along wonderfully with the other talent. He is also known to be extremely close to the next generation of superstars, guiding them along the way. This includes the former Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley.
Punk recently posted a photo on Instagram alongside Rhea Ripley. The two superstars were inside a gym and flexing toward the camera. Both their spouses commented on this photo. Buddy Matthews mentioned how he was great friends with the Best in the World and that he wouldn’t let the latter flex without him. Meanwhile, AJ Lee appreciated this duo.
This photo was posted just a few days after the two superstars had a hilarious interaction on social media. Punk had commented on Ripley’s Instagram live that she was using fake weights. The Eradicator responded to this statement by asking him to join her for a workout sometime soon. It appears that the Second City Saint took her up on this offer.
I know we are mates but I will not sit here and let you flex without mentioning me.

CM Punk is a great friend not only to Ripley but also to her husband. He worked with Matthews for quite a while when they were both a part of AEW and spent time on the Collision brand. They even faced off in the ring when the Chicago native teamed up with FTR to take on the House of Black in a six-man tag team match.
Bubba Ray predicts CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania
One of the biggest mysteries in professional wrestling right now is the favor owed to CM Punk by Paul Heyman. The leading fan theory suggests that it has something to do with the Straight Edge Superstar finally getting to the main event of WrestleMania. He would surely require a high-profile dancing partner to make it happen, and Bubba Ray thinks that man could be Cody Rhodes.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Ray said that Heyman could help the 46-year-old in getting a WrestleMania main event by helping him win the Royal Rumble and go after Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania 41. He said that the Royal Rumble could come down to Punk vs. Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns. Heyman creates a distraction and allows the Voice of the Voiceless to win the entire thing.
Can we make a case for Punk vs. Cody at WrestleMania in which Paul Heyman helps CM Punk to get there via the Royal Rumble? Absolutely. You can connect those dots quite nicely and Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk in the main event.

Fans have seen the Best in the World and Cody Rhodes go head-to-head in a promo previously. The segment was magical, and it would be a treat to see what these two superstars could cook up during a WrestleMania build-up.
