Freiburg’s Vincenzo Griflo scored a goal in the sixth minute to give his side a 1-0 lead in the game. SC Freiburg were on a 1-0 lead at the end of half-time. Roland Sallai scored the second goal for his club in the 53rd minute to extend their lead in the game.

Finally, Yannik Keitel put one into his own net to give BVB one goal added to their tally. However, SC Freiburg won the match 2-1.

Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim FC started their season with a comfortable 4-0 victory against FC Augsburg. In their second match, they managed a 2-2 draw with Union Berlin.

Berlin struck first in the 10th minute. However, Hoffenheim players struck twice in the 14th and 30th minute to finish the half-time with a one-goal lead. Union Berlin’s Taiwo Awoniyi put one into the back of the net in the 47th minute to level scores and end the match in a draw.
