Caitlin Clark is currently off the court as she enjoys a well-deserved break after her spectacular rookie season. The Indiana Fever star turned 23 and her boyfriend Connor McCaffery knows how to make a birthday person feel special. However, Clark’s Iowa bestie Jada Gyamfi does not miss a chance to poke fun at the two.
Connor McCaffery took to Instagram to make a heartwarming post on Caitlin Clark’s birthday. The post featured three adorable pictures of the two with an emotional caption alongside. The WNBA star went straight to the comments to express her love for McCaffery who was glad the two will get to spend this birthday together.
Hers wasn’t the only comment that caught fans’ eyes as they found Jada Gyamfi’s there. Clark’s former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate had a hilarious reaction to the post that every best friend related with. Gyamfi commented a ‘puke emoji’ following it with another comment that said “adorable” in brackets.

Jada Gyamfi and Caitlin Clark have known each other since their time with the Iowa Hawkeyes. The two brought back-to-back Big Ten championships along with back-to-back national championship appearances. Despite them not playing together, the two have managed to keep in touch. As Clark makes a wave in the WNBA, Gyamfi finishes out her collegiate career.
Having said that, Caitlin Clark ended with one of the most accomplished rookie seasons ever. From being the TIME Athlete of the Year to being named Rookie of the Year, the Fever guard had a long year. Following that, Clark announced missing out on the Unrivaled League which upset the fans. However, she will be seen on court soon enough in May for the regular WNBA season.
Caitlin Clark is the last person Jada Gyamfi would want to be stuck with on a deserted island
In a recent episode of Fresh Tawk, Jada Gyamfi was asked about people she would be stuck with on a deserted island. The Hawkeyes forward was too honest as she ranked teammates Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall, and Caitlin Clark. She ranked the three in the very same order, gaining hilarious reactions from the fans as well as her teammates.
Putting Clark on 3rd, Gyamfi reasoned that the former would make her do all the tasks and crib about things she would want. Subsequently, she amused that the two would never get off that island while with the former two, she might. The remarks sparked reactions from the three in the comments section that started a banter, not that the fans were complaining.
Martin appeared pleased with Gyamfi’s choice while Marshall was content that the two will have the time of their lives. Clark on the other hand alleged that she was more valuable than her. This was not the first time the two engaged in a fun discourse on social media. On the contrary, the fans were of the opinion that roasting just might be their love language.
