The Chicago Bears are having a phenomenal game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team is dominating the team 35-16 with under 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. It has been an eventful night for rookie quarterback Caleb Williams who is having his best game yet.

The first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft has thrown for 226 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Overall, it’s a strong showing and his best professional performance. However, the Bears are the Bears, and their game is not fully complete without a blooper or two.

The quarterback had an absurd fail in what fans on X are calling ‘The headbutt pass.’ As he attempted to get a pass in time with the pocket collapsing, Caleb Williams ended up forcing a throw right into the face of offensive tackle Matt Pryor.

Right before the Jaguars’ defensive line got to him, Williams attempted a sidearm throw but right before the ball could get some airtime, Pryor stepped right in front of the QB.

Caleb Williams is getting trolled despite having a good game

The ball hit the offensive tackle’s helmet and bounced off it before getting loose. Fortunately for Chicago, this blunder did not cost them the game considering their comfortable lead. However, it served as yet another opportunity for critics of Caleb Williams to take a shot at him.

Fans began to reference the quarterback’s oddities such as painting his nails. This preference of his has made him the subject of numerous memes, especially on X.

On the positive side, Williams did put up the necessary numbers to lead his team to a win. There are moments like this during games, bloopers happen, and critics will jump at the smallest opportunity to bring you down, to put it in the words of Taylor Swift, “Haters going to hate, hate, hate” but as a player, all you got to do is play, play, play.
