If there’s one thing Caleb Williams has proved in the recent few months of being under the spotlight is that he isn’t afraid of being himself. That’s why, shortly after facing intense backlash from fans for wearing nail paint, this time, the rookie quarterback was spotted carrying a purse in his hand. 

The Chicago Bears rookie has caught many eyes for carrying a handbag while leaving a meeting as shown in the recent episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks. It’s not sitting well with many football fans that an NFL quarterback drafted as the No. 1 overall pick was carrying a “woman’s purse” as a fan called it out.

In the video, Williams can be seen finishing up a meeting with his coach and as he got up, he reached down and grabbed a purse before walking out. It seems quite evident that the former USC standout player doesn’t care about the scrutiny he gets over things he likes because at the end of the day, he delivers and that’s what should be important.

Williams has gotten used to facing criticisms from the NFL fans, as it got quite intense a few months back when he was seen with manicured nails painted in pink shade and wearing lip gloss at a local basketball game. But he decided to troll his critics more and so he showed up at the NFL draft wearing a silver nail paint.

Even though Williams hasn’t made a single play in the NFL yet, he is already being named one of the favorites by many to reach the Super Bowl, making the Bears a threat to the Kansas City Chiefs for their goal of three-peat in the coming 2024 season. And the one who claimed it was the Chiefs fanatic, Nick Wright during an episode of the First Things First.

Wright predicted a bright future for the Bears having a quarterback like Williams in the lead backed by the strong offensive weapons they added this offseason. Not only did he predict the Super Bowl game for them, but also claims Williams will clinch the NFC title. 

The sports analyst believes the Super Bowl contending teams in the NFC, which are the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams, and Philadelphia Eagles– all have some weaknesses that can be Williams’ trick to claim victory over them and earn the NFC title in his debut season in the league.
