Mexican boxing sensation Canelo Alvarez is a standout professional boxer in the community. His astounding achievements in the sport make him a legend of the sport. With an extraordinary boxing record, Canelo also has a huge fandom that often visits his pressers and fights. Recently, a funny incident occurred where Canelo Alvarez learned about one of his fans’ bizarre requests.
The incident was from the ‘Grand Arrivals’ event ahead of the Alvarez vs. Edgar Berlanga fight. With just a few days left for the fight, Canelo looked all set and confidently walked while entering the stage. However, what came next was a completely hilarious moment. When the host introduced Alvarez, she made a funny statement where she mentioned a man who was ready to let Canelo impregnate his wife.
The Mexican boxing sensation had a good laugh about it and labeled the man as ‘mad.’ All of these were in a light-hearted tone, and everyone present laughed off it. Following that, the host also mentioned the amount of love and loyalty Canelo’s fans hold for him. However, all these warm greetings and appreciation wouldn’t have been possible without Alvarez’s extraordinary feats in boxing.
Speaking of Canelo’s boxing records, since his professional debut in 2005, he has lost only two fights. The two fights where the Mexican boxer failed to win were against Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol. Apart from that, Alvarez thrashed all his opponents. The fight fans who have seen Canelo grow from a budding boxer to a veteran now hold immense respect for him.

Canelo Alvarez was born and brought up in Guadalajara, Mexico, where Spanish is the native language. During his fight pressers and other activities, Canelo spoke rarely in English. However, he recently found a good grasp of the language and has addressed his recent presser in English. Years ahead of that, during his fight against Caleb Plant, Alvarez didn’t have that strong knowledge of the language.
The pre-fight buildup between Canelo and Plant saw a lot of bad blood, with both boxers trading nasty verbal jabs at each other. During that week, the Mexican superstar slammed ‘Sweethands’ with some brutal curse words. However, months later, Alvarez revealed how he didn’t know about it back then. In doing that, he also apologized to Plant.

As of now, both Alvarez and Plant seem to have ended their animosity against each other. As such, during the recent NYC presser of Canelo vs. Berlanga, the Mexican boxer stood up for the American boxer. It is one of the factors that fight fans like about the Mexican boxing sensation.
