UFC Megastar Nate Diaz is someone not to mess with, and you cannot do anything about it if he messes with you. Diaz is on his last fight contract with the UFC after which he can either sign a new deal with the promotion or start testing free agency himself. After all, he has built a strong brand independently out of his name through his run with the company.

As of now, there’s no clear opponent for what can be Diaz’s last fight inside the UFC octagon if he doesn’t sign up for a new deal beforehand. There are open Twitter talks for a fight between Diaz and UFC Lightweight Dustin Poirier, who’s looking forward to now fighting at 170 lbs after spending almost 7 years in the lightweight division. How about Diaz’s trilogy with Conor McGregor? That’s a fight that can sell out in no time anytime it’s official, but the UFC hasn’t hinted at any efforts to make that fight happen either. Also, McGregor’s return is in the hangs as well.

Diaz recently took to Twitter to write something contentious and what may catch many eyes getting suspicious of his body. Diaz wrote: “Usada can’t catch me [3 running emojis]” The message is clearly being directed to the US Anti-Doping Agency aka USADA, a commission that ensures that athletes don’t take any unfair substances that boost their performance and hence makes them capable of performing beyond their natural limitations which accounts for cheating in sports.

Diaz is someone who has never been tested positive for any performance-enhancing drugs but is known for his consumption of psychotic substances like weed, especially marijuana, or even smoking pots openly. Though consumption is legalized proportionately by various Athletic Commissions including USADA now, it was all strictly prohibited a few years ago.

It was because of its early prohibition back in 2015 that Diaz’s brother Nick Diaz was initially banned for 5 years for marijuana consumption during the Anderson Silva fight. With resistance from the MMA fighters all over, Diaz’s punishment was revised and reduced to 2 years. On the day after the initial hearing of 5 years, Diaz claimed in anger to a media scrum outside the court that banning him for so long for marijuana doesn’t make sense as all the fighters in the fight game were on steroids themselves.

Even Nate Diaz himself has carried his brother’s baton and to this day the Diaz brothers believe that everyone’s on steroids. What do you make of Diaz teasing the USADA? Do you think there’s bad blood from Diaz’s side against USADA for getting his brother banned from the competition for a long time?
