The 2024-25 edition of the English Football League Cup or Carabao Cup has entered its final stages, with four teams having made it to the semi-finals. A notable piece of silverware is up for grabs, as four EPL sides are in the race to secure their first trophy of the season.
The competition which started out with 92 teams is now in its business end, with holders Liverpool also having made it into the final four. Apart from the Reds, London giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also secured their places in the final four of the competition. They are accompanied by Newcastle United. The Magpies are in the search for their first ever Carabao Cup triumph, having previously made it to the finals in 2023.
The recently conducted draw of the much-awaited competition concluded with two surprising matchups. The draw was held on 19th December, immediately after the last quarter-final match between Tottenham and Manchester United. Let us take a closer look at the fixtures, schedule, and the official broadcasters.
Carabao Cup semi-final fixtures
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham will take on defending champions Liverpool in the last four of the competition. Spurs overcame Man Utd 4-3 in an exciting quarter-finals encounter. Meanwhile, Liverpool defeated Southampton 2-1 to make it to the final stages.
The second semi-final is set to take place between Arsenal and Newcastle United. The Magpies had defeated Brentford 3-1 to secure their place in the final four. The Gunners, on the other hand, were guided by a brilliant Gabriel Jesus hat-trick, as they beat Crystal Palace 3-2.

Carabao Cup semi-finals schedule
The EFL Cup semi-final ties will take place over two legs. The first leg of semi-final ties is scheduled to take place on 6th January, 2025, while the second leg is expected to commence on 3rd February, 2025.

Tottenham will take on Liverpool at home first, followed by a trip to Anfield. Their London rivals Arsenal will take on Newcastle at the Emirates stadium in the onset. They will be travelling to St. James Park for the second leg. The winners will then face each other at the iconic Wembley Stadium in the final, later on.
Where to watch the Carabao Cup semi-finals?
The semi-finals of the 2024-25 Carabao Cup will be broadcasted live on channels all across the world. In the United States, the matches can be viewed live on Paramount+. In the United Kingdom, viewers can tune in to Sky Sports Football to watch the games.
Viewers in India will not be able to tune to any television channels to watch the matches, as there will be no official broadcaster. However, the matches will be live streamed through the FanCode app and its website in the country.
