On the other hand, his rival, Sinner, has many points to defend in the North American swing. This year the tournament is scheduled to take place from 27 July to 7 August at the Sobeys Stadium in Toronto, with Alexei Popyrin entering as the defending champion. With five titles, Rafael Nadal holds the record for the most number of title wins at the Canadian Open.
