Carmelo Anthony BAFFLED as son picks Bronny and LeBron James as better basketball duo
The legendary Carmelo Anthony was one of the best scorers in the NBA history.
Carmelo Anthony feels he can beat the James Duo
Bronny James got drafted into the NBA just a few weeks back and became the first father-son duo (alongside LeBron James) to ever play in the NBA together. Kiyan Anthony, son of the Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony also hopes to get his chance to play in the NBA. During an interview with Overtime, Kiyan was asked a few questions.
In the interview, Kiyan was asked which father-son duo will win in a 2v2 game of basketball. He and his dad or LeBron James and Bronny James. He answered by saying that the James family would have the upper hand and get the W in a close game. Young Anthony wasn’t confident about his chances and gave the edge to the James duo.
I think Bron and Bronny will win, to be honest just because Bron is still in the league, he’s still doing what he doing, you know. I don’t know but it will be a close game, I feel it will be like 11-8, 11-7.Kiyan Anthony via Overtime
After the interview, Carmelo Anthony hilariously posted a tweet and said he is “going to remember this.” Carmelo disagreed with his son and felt that he was underestimating him. Kiyan might have a point as LeBron James is almost into his 40s and is still one of the best in the league, while it has been two years since Melo retired.
While Melo is still in great shape and has shown signs of great on-court skills, the Anthony duo can still make some noise against the James duo. Young Anthony currently plays for Long Island Lutheran Crusaders. Overall looking at Kiyan’s answer it shows his humble attitude and will to improve and get better.
