Anthony Edwards claps back at critics in the Adidas commercial.

Anthony Edwards is certainly not a shy person when it comes to calling out his critics on and off the court. However, this time the star has responded to the doubters with a commercial. After the Minnesota Timberwolves were eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks, Adidas wasted no time as they released a new commercial featuring Edwards.

The commercial starts with Anthony Edwards showing his receipt machine to his co-star while getting some shots up. Edwards states that he ‘hears all the hate’ as the machine prints out all the negative comments about the 22-year-old. The co-star reads out a series of comments from Carmelo Anthony, rapper Cam’ron and many more. After hearing all the criticism Edwards gives a fitting reply to end the commercial.

Edwards was completely being himself while promoting his AE 1 shoes. The star was his usual self as he was unconcerned in the ‘face of the league‘ concept. The commercial quickly went viral as fans admired Ant-Man’s unfiltered attitude.

Despite losing in the Western Conference Finals, Edwards has gained a ton of fan following for his performance and mentality during the playoffs. The star took the Timberwolves to the conference finals after 20 years by defeating the reigning champions. This had fans considering the guard to be the future of the NBA.

Cam’ron reacted to getting mentioned in Anthony Edwards’ commercial

During the commercial, a comment by Cam’ron was read where he stated that Edwards is an All-Star for him but not a superstar. Ant-Man laughed at the comment by taking a jibe at the rapper while his co-star roasted Cam’ron’s ‘It is what it is’ podcast.

Cam’ron watched the commercial and took to his Instagram to share his reaction. The rapper thanked Adidas as he defended himself and stated that he was on Edwards’ side. However, the 48-year-old did not mince his words while he called out Edwards’ co-star.

Thx @adidas for the love. And I had antman back this whole time but I’ll address this Monday on the show.. love the attitude tho. Only thing I would say is get a better looking lesbian to read the receipts.

Cam’ron applauded Edwards’ attitude like many others in the NBA community. Even after the loss, Ant-Man held his head high and stated that the team would redeem themselves as he acknowledged their mistakes. All eyes will be set on what the guard does in the next season.
