The NBA bubble was a tough place to be in as a professional basketball player, as a lot was at stake during a crucial period in the world. Interestingly, the NBA players had different experiences during the bubble as that particular period was completely new to everyone involved in and around the decorated league, including fans around the world.
From virtual supporters to numerous teams living in the same hotels, the entire situation was unique for everyone involved. This resulted in a few entertaining stories from numerous players, notably Kemba Walker and Carmelo Anthony. Both the NBA stars shared their views on the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, claiming that the NBA bubble games were well and truly competitive, with “real beef” included during the games.

Kemba Walker also agreed with Anthony and said, “Every single day man.”
Both Walker and Anthony were top players for their side back then, with Walker and his Boston Celtics side securing a 3rd seed in the ECF in the NBA bubble season. As for Anthony, his side, the Portland Trail Blazers settled for the eighth slot in the WCF.

The NBA veteran Kemba Walker announced his retirement on Carmelo Anthony’s 7PM in Brooklyn Podcast. However, it was Walker’s words for Melo that caught the NBA community’s attention while announcing his retirement. Walker claimed on the podcast that Carmelo Anthony was “his favorite player since he was a little kid.”

It is interesting to note that, Walker’s success began during the 2011 NCAA men’s basketball tournament, when he guided the UConn Huskies to the national championship. In addition, Walker played basketball professionally for 14 seasons, 13 of which were in the NBA, and well and truly left a stamp on the NBA fans’ hearts with his top-notch performances, despite facing injuries throughout his career.
