Max Holloway proved why he’s one of the best in the UFC Featherweight division. At UFC 300, the 32-year-old shocked everyone by knocking out Justin Gaethje in the last two seconds of the round. As such, a few WWE personalities reacted to it, including Rhea Ripley‘s alleged ex-girlfriend, Cathy Kelley.

The backstage interviewer took to X and joked about the crazy final stretch. Kelley wrote that Holloway dictated the end of the fight on his own terms. Evidently, she, just like fans, couldn’t believe what had transpired at the last second. WWE stars and personnel interacting with the UFC world shouldn’t come as a surprise, given that companies merged under the TKO umbrella in September last year.

In fact, Kelley’s ‘ex-partner’, Rhea Ripley, attended UFC 299 last month. Mami was present alongside Buddy Matthews to support their fellow Aussie fighter, Jack Della Maddalena. As for The Eradicator and Cathy Kelley‘s relationship, the pair have maintained an on-and-off status. The 35-year-old ‘broke up’ with Ripley due to the latter growing closer to Samantha Irvin.

Since then, the trio has constantly updated the WWE Universe about their relationship on social media. As a result, fans have remained invested in the online storyline involving Mami and Kelley. In one of the latest chapters of their saga, the backstage personality took shots at Ripley’s on-screen partner, Dominik Mysterio. Hence, it has led fans to believe that Kelley was jealous of their partnership.

Michael Cole has established himself as the current voice of WWE. More so, since Vince McMahon‘s ‘retirement’, the veteran has gained the respect of fans and colleagues. Recently, Cathy Kelley commented on whether or not she would like to interview Cole.

While speaking on the Lightweights podcast, the interviewer was asked about the 55-year-old legend. Kelley reflected on watching Cole’s interviews with other stars, such as The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Further, she believes that she would put the Raw commentator on the spot and feels that there is a lot to unravel about him.

According to the 35-year-old personality, fans can learn more about Cole’s personal story. Obviously, Kelley, just like the wrestling world, has a lot of respect and admiration for the future HOF’er. It will be interesting to see whether she receives the opportunity to interview him in the coming months.
