The Swiss Cyborg, Cesaro, has been on a roll on the recent episodes of Smackdown. Since a couple of weeks prior to the Royal Rumble, WWE started pushing Cesaro massively. In fact, Cesaro was among the favorites to win the Rumble match.

Edge managed to outlast 29 opponents and win the Royal Rumble. But he will be deciding his opponent after the Elimination Chamber. But now it seems like Cesaro will be getting a shot at the WWE Universal title at the Elimination Chamber.

Cesaro and Bryan won their tag team match against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on the latest episode of Smackdown. Their win earned them a spot inside the Elimination Chamber. After the episode went off-air, Cesaro appeared on WWE’s Talking Smack.

Cesaro mentioned on the show that how he has worked hard and earned everything in his life. Now he is ready to earn the Universal title. Cesaro cut one of the best promos of his career on Talking Smack.

Roman Reigns’ title will be on the line at Elimination Chamber

The second Elimination Chamber match

WWE official Adam Pearce informed Reigns during the opening segment of Smackdown that he has to put his title on the line at WWE Elimination Chamber. But Reigns decided that he will defend the title at Elimination Chamber but not inside it.

Roman Reigns will face the winner of the Elimination Chamber match immediately after the match. Kevin Owens and Jey Uso directly got a spot in the match. Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Corbin and Sami Zayn earned their places by winning their qualifier matches.

Elimination Chamber airs live on 21st February, 2021.
