Sometimes, words can hit harder than fists. Who better to use those weaponized words other than the trash-talking legend Chael Sonnen? The former UFC middleweight contender proved this once again. Before his boxing debut against Anderson Silva, Sonnen unleashed a verbal assault on boxing’s greatest athletes.

Sonnen is known for his unfiltered persona and witty retorts. His target for this taunt was the literacy of boxing’s most renowned figures. He spared no one, not even the boxing legends like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. The American Gangster started by citing his lack of respect for boxing and boxers.

Chael Sonnen‘s reputation for trash talk is well-established in MMA circles. However, taking on boxing’s pantheon was new. However, Silva was a much quicker and skillful fighter among the two. He landed much more than Sonnen and even gave him a bloody nose. However, both their hands were raised at the end of the exhibition fight. This may be the start of Chael Sonne’s boxing adventures.
