With a 130-121 victory, the New York Knicks took a decisive 2-0 lead over the Indiana Pacers in the NBA playoffs. However, the Hall of Famer, Charles Barkley is not much of a fan of the NY Knicks. As such, he blasted the Knicks and their fans on the NBA on TNT show, claiming the Knicks to be overrated.

Barkley went all out on-air toward the NY Knicks and their fans. 

Y’all think y’all the greatest thing since sliced bread. Y’all ain’t that good in New York. Y’all overrated.

This was some reaction from Barkley, especially after the Knicks claimed a decisive win for the Pacers. Notably, Barkley is not much of a fan of the Knicks. This may be due to the Knicks knocking out his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers in round 1 of the NBA playoffs. It’s unclear if that or any other supposed offense caused his unusual rage toward the Knicks. However, panelist and former NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal encouraged him to do so, telling him to “Go On.”

On the contrary, the New York Knicks have been performing exceptionally well this NBA season. Their star man, Jalen Brunson has kept them in contention to qualify for the next round of the playoffs by securing an important win over the Indiana Pacers.

Jalen Brunson of the NY Knicks has been top-notch this NBA season. He has been their stand-out performer in the league and the postseason. His performances against the 76ers and the Pacers have not gone unnoticed. Charles Barkley has been very vocal regarding Brunson’s performances for the Knicks in the NBA playoffs.

Barkley had nothing but praise for Brunson, saying he’s one of the best players ever to sign a free-agency contract.

For Barkley to speak so highly about Brunson’s performances speaks a lot about his value in the sport. However, the Knicks fans will be hoping that Brunson continues his hot form and sees out the Indiana Pacers. It will not be an easy task for the Knicks as they might face the Boston Celtics if they win the current round against the Indiana Pacers.
