Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley’s bromance was again seen on screens during halftime between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Oklahoma City Thunder on TNT’s Inside the NBA. This time, they caused a frenzy on social media when they threw banter at each other over weight comparisons. 

Barkley never misses the opportunity to throw a quick verbal jab or two at Big Shaq. Shaq had said he was lighter than the ‘Round Mound of Rebound’, who was never going to agree.

Even fellow host Kenny Smith nearly caught a stray from Charles Barkley when he wanted to know what drug Shaquille O’Neal was referring to, which he said Chuck had taken. At least he got to learn something new in all the banter.

Furthermore, the couple’s therapy conducted by Dr. Julius Erving didn’t work as expected, as they continued bickering at each other in the most playful way ever. Their chemistry has been their unique selling point and what has driven viewers towards their show.

Chuck couldn’t resist the urge to throw a jab again at his favorite colleague, Big Shaq, after he made an unfortunate slip of the tongue while on air. The four-time NBA champion mistakenly referred to the Bulls as the “Chicago Bills” during Sunday’s pregame show.

NBA analysts Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley joined host Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith, where they all planned to discuss the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat game. However, before previewing that, they had to reveal their end-of-season awards, which then led to Shaq announcing the Clutch Player of the Year and reading from an envelope, he named Steph Curry as the winner, but then mistakenly said “DeMar DeRozan, Chicago Bills.” 

Smith immediately corrected him and then received no sympathy from Barkley, who made fun of his gaffe.

Chuck was petty all night as he rubbed it in his face whenever he saw the chance, and did it without any sympathy or remorse.
