Charlotte Flair has been out of action due to an ACL injury since December of last year. Not only that, she also suffered a torn MCL and meniscus. Due to this unfortunate injury, The Queen missed this year’s WrestleMania. Despite the injury, she continues to give fans updates from time to time, and the latest update could put a smile on their faces.
The 14-time Women’s Champion posted on Instagram and shared some positive news about her injury. Thankfully, there has been a significant improvement in her surgically repaired leg. Charlotte Flair talked about taking her first biodex test. The goal was to have a 40 percent or less deficit in strength compared to her other leg. However, the deficit was just 20 percent, and on some occasions, she even felt her non-surgical leg was stronger.
The 38-year-old star expressed her love for the WWE Universe for supporting her during this tough time. Flair said that she couldn’t wait to lace up her boots again and step into the squared circle. The last time she wrestled was against Asuka on the December 8 episode of SmackDown, during which she suffered an injury. Amid her hiatus, she was also seen working on an indie horror movie called “You Lose You Die.”
Injury Update. Today, was my first biodex (isokinetic training) test! I needed to be in the 40 percent or less deficit for strength compared to my non surgical leg….. I had 20 percent or less quad strength and in some of the measurements I was stronger in my surgical leg… ??? I MISS YOU GUYS & can’t wait to lace my boots again!Charlotte Flair on Instagram
Many fans left wholesome comments under her post, wishing for her to return to wrestling soon. Although there is no concrete information about her return date, given the rate of her recovery, it could be sooner than expected. It will be intriguing to see whether she goes after the top prize upon her return or not.
