Chelsea’s Kai Havertz tests positive for Covid-19


Chelsea attacking midfielder Kai Havertz has tested positive for Covid-19. The German international wasn’t a part of the squad to face Rennes in the UEFA Champions League.
Frank Lampard has confirmed that Havertz has tested positive. He’s currently unavailable and is in isolation.

Chelsea posted an official statement on Twitter regarding Kai Havertz. He’s undergoing a period of self isolation. He will miss the match against Rennes.

Chelsea defeated Krasnodar 4-0 last time in the Champions League with Havertz bagging an assist. The midfielder is settling in well with 6 goal contributions in his last 5 matches.
