Carlos Alcaraz managed to successfully defend his Wimbledon Championships title. He now has four Majors to his name at the age of 21, a feat that even Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal accomplished.
Recently, videos from his formative years went viral on social media, which left tennis legend Chris Evert impressed. The video showed a 13-year-old Alcaraz playing tennis, with some of his shots looking very familiar. Former World No. 1 Evert reacted to the same by expressing her surprise at the level of Alcaraz’s shots.
This is incredible…..only 13? With those shots? Really?

Alcaraz did not make a big impact in his junior years. He only won two titles in the junior category but took the ATP tour by surprise ever since he moved up. He quickly rose the ranks, won many big titles, and has also been ranked the World No. 1 for a significant period.

Alcaraz stunned the tennis world by dominating Djokovic in the Wimbledon final. It was his second win against the Serbian at that stage, having won his maiden grass Major by beating him in a five-set affair last year.
Rafael Nadal makes a staggering Carlos Alcaraz prediction
Rafael Nadal, the 22-time singles Grand Slam winner, recently gave his thoughts about his compatriot and Paris Olympics doubles partner Carlos Alcaraz. Nadal hailed the youngster as the best in history and also stated that there was no competition for him other than Jannik Sinner.
My impression is that we are talking about a player who is going to be one of the best in history. That is my feeling. He is a player with enormous potential. Life can change quickly. That is the truth.Rafael Nadal said (via ATP)
Alcaraz will next feature at the Paris Olympics, where he will play alongside his idol Rafael Nadal in the men’s doubles. He is also expected to feature in the singles, where he could face the likes of Sinner or Djokovic if he manages to make a deep run.
Nadal, meanwhile, is currently preparing for the Olympics by taking part in the Swedish Open, where he is playing both singles and doubles and reached the semifinals in both categories. In the singles, he faces Duje Ajdukovic next. In the doubles, the 38-year-old and Casper Ruud are set to take on the Brazilian pair of Orlando Luz and Rafael Matos.
