Tennis legend Chris Evert recently responded to her rival and friend Martina Navratilova’s comment about their upcoming docuseries, Gods of Tennis. PBS has just released a three-part series featuring some of the sport’s greatest individuals.

The three-part docuseries is narrated by English actor and filmmaker David Morrissey, who speaks about the lives and games of players like Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, Billie Jean King, Arthur Ashe, John McEnroe, and more. There was also a promo picture for this documentary featuring the above personalities.

However, there was a noticeable mistake in the promo that many quickly spotted. While creating a collage of the players in their game faces, they mistakenly flipped the images, making Navratilova appear as a right-hander and her rival, Evert, as a left-hander.

The promo contained two obvious mistakes that didn’t go unnoticed by Navratilova, who commented on the errors, hoping the documentary would be better than the promo. Days later, Evert reacted to Navratilova’s tweet.

Omg, that is not good... my serving pose looks like yours! yikes!

By altering the images, the promo made it appear as if Evert had adopted Navratilova’s serve. Despite this mix-up, the TV series aired and was well-received by the tennis community. Though it focused on the game’s legends, it was skillfully produced to entertain tennis fans.
