For Los Angeles Lakers star Christian Wood, life has come full circle. After getting embroiled in harassment and accusations of trying to hurt someone, the center has now finally received justice. Receiving justice meant his ex-girlfriend Yasmine Lopez lost custody of their 10-month-old son. It led her to post cryptic messages.

As reported by RadarOnline.com, The Los Angeles Superior Court awarded Christian Wood sole custody of his 10-month-old son Kobe Sean. The court also issued a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend Lopez lasting up until 2027. Essentially, for 3 years, the mother of his son will not be able to meet her child. This led Lopez to post a story on her official Instagram account.

It depicted a woman jumping off a cruise ship. Suggesting that she is heartbroken by the court order. Naturally for a mother, it will be heartbreaking when their 10-month-old son has been taken away. Not only taken away, but she will have to wait for 3 years to be able to meet him.

There was a possibility of the court verdict being a bit more lenient. That is if Lopez had appeared in court. Nonappearances tend to sway the verdict in the other client’s favor. It is also not as if Yasmine Lopez’s actions could have brought out a different verdict.

Yasmine Lopez pushed Christian Wood to the brink

The backdrop of this was a couple of months ago, Lopez trespassed Wood’s property and was wandering around the premises. Wood had filmed the entire proceedings as she was not leaving. Then as she jumped the wall, she proceeded to vandalize Wood’s car, leaving deep scratches all over.

After a neighbor informed called the cops on the possible intrusion, Lopez was arrested. Police instructed Wood to get hold of his son, who was at Lopez’s friend Tee‘s house. Instead of allowing Wood to take his son, Tee accused the Los Angeles Lakers star of trying to beat her up with a shovel. Wood filed and received a temporary restraining order against Lopez.

Christian Wood has been handed custody of his son. Yasmine Lopez might have to challenge the verdict if she wants to meet her son anytime soon. But with the evidence presented it will be difficult to reverse the verdict.
