Stefanos Tsitsipas has experienced significant changes in his coaching team, with his physical trainer Christos Fiotakis recently parting ways with the Greek player. Despite coming close to winning his first major multiple times, Tsitsipas has been thwarted by Novak Djokovic on each occasion. Since then, he has struggled to replicate that success in subsequent Grand Slam tournaments.
Recently, Fiotakis penned down a very personal note indicating that he has parted ways with Stefanos Tsitsipas. The coach revealed that he was not satisfied with Tsitsipas’ work ethic and had to leave before the Olympics.
Fiotakis had joined the team a few years ago and helped Tsitsipas prepare after the injury and was even ready to be a part of the team for the 2024 Paris Olympics to achieve a medal, which was not possible in Tokyo. Throughout the letter, the coach mentioned “other priorities” multiple times, indicating that Tsitsipas was not giving his 100% to his tennis.
I'm not happy with Stefanos' work ethic. Beyond that, there are things that are beyond my control. The team atmosphere doesn't match my energy and unfortunately we have other priorities. For now, I don't think his ultimate goal is to play tennis.Christos Fiotakis said via SDNA
Furthermore, the coach did not want to want to travel for the sake of traveling and felt his energy could be useful elsewhere. He wanted to stay for the Olympics, but was disappointed enough to leave midway.
I knew something went wrong bc Christos posted in his insta something along the lines "you don't need to hear someone talk, his actions say all about him" – paraphrasing.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has some kind words for his girlfriend Paula Badosa as the couple end their small break-apart
Greek pro-Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have once again rekindled their relationship after spending a couple of weeks apart. A month earlier, Badosa had posted on her Instagram about parting ways with Tsitsipas, but soon they were seen together holding hands and eating dinner together.
It was not long before Tsitsipas revealed the entire story to the Greek press. He stated that he had decided to break up, which made him realize the value of Badosa, and now they are back together.
I feel that she is my person and we understand each other; that puts more value in everything I do and I want her by my side as often as possible. So yes, we've reconnected and we're in a good moment.Stefanos Tsitsipas told to the Greek media
In terms of tennis, both the players are progressively improving. While they did not make much impact on Roland Garros, it is yet to be seen what they have in store for Wimbledon and the Paris Olympics.
