“The Bengals don’t deserve him” – Cincinnati losing yet another close game despite Joe Burrow’s heroics has fans demanding a trade
Joe Burrow's 'never say die' attitude kept the Bengals in the game against the Chargers, but the defense once again stabbed him in the back, handing them their seventh loss of the season.

What more must Joe Burrow do to get a win for the Bengals? He faced Justin Herbert’s Chargers on the late Sunday night fixture at SoFi Stadium in LA where stakes were high for both teams.
The Chargers wanted to maintain their three-game winning streak, while the Bengals wanted to finally secure a win as they had lost too many with a margin of less than seven points this season.
Zac Taylor’s team got off to the worst possible start by allowing the Chargers to take a 27-6 lead halfway through the game. Burrow fought back and equalized the score with just a handful of minutes left to play in the fourth quarter, but the Bengals’ defense once again failed him.
Chargers running back JK Dobbins scored his second rushing touchdown of the night to secure a late win for Jim Harbaugh’s team.

Football fans on social media accuse Bengals of wasting Joe Burrow’s prime years
The Pro Bowler threw two touchdowns to wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and one to Tee Higgins to keep the Bengals in the tie. They could have had more if kicker Evan McPherson hadn’t missed two three-point tries (McPherson has missed a total of six field goal tries this season).
Burrow ended the game with 28 completions from 50 tries for 356 passing yards and three touchdowns. The 27-year-old is the first QB in NFL history to throw for 300+ yards with 3+ TD passes and 0 INT in back-to-back games but lose both in regulation.
Burrow leads the league in several quarterback categories. In eleven gamedays in 2024, he has completed 274 passes for 3028 yards (67.2% completion rate), 27 touchdowns, and just four interceptions (106.9 quarterback rating).

I’m gutted for Burrow. They’ve wasted the best season of his career. pic.twitter.com/wugUMZNIkc
Bengals season is over and their Super Bowl window is closed. You can blame ownership and the front office for wasting Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase’s best seasons. Hell of a fight by the players. But this franchise is a total joke right now. Wasted dumpster fire season.

I’ll stop tweeting about the coaching staff but being 4-7 with these stats speak for itself. Front office is more to blame with this roster mess. I want to know who in the FO kept telling Dianna Russini they weren’t done trading yet after getting Herbert ? https://t.co/o27Kc95t9F

The loss dropped the Bengals to 4-7 for the season with playoff hopes fading on the horizon. During the post-game presser, reporters asked Burrow to explain the loss to the Chargers.
Reporter: “Is this the most frustrating season you’ve ever had?”
— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) November 18, 2024
Joe Burrow: “Yeah.”
Reporter: “Why?”
Joe Burrow: “It’s pretty self explanatory.”

The Bengals are mathematically in the wildcard race but have to face teams like the Dallas Cowboys and AFC North tabletoppers Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2) twice.
